Quality German  gouache

DR. FR. SCHOENFELD & CO. DUSSELDORF - GERMANY

Gouache

Binder  similar to water colour (Gum Arabic)

Specific formulation leads to very good bonding of the pigment,

very good resistance to wiping of the colour and relative high elasticity that allows thicker brush strokes.Special additives allow the painting of bigger surfaces without streaking.

This is  the disadvantage traditional egg temperas.

Very high pigment

concentration leads to an unchanged hiding power even if thinned down with a lot of water or white.Only lightfast and stable pigments of extra-fine quality are used No real cadmium, cobalt or other dangerous pigments used. Colour can be used by children in schools.Free of highly poisonous conservation mediums (No “Phenol”)

Arrangement of all components leads to a very nice, mat, velvety surface without strokes
